I welcome you at You Matter Yoga Therapy Health and Wellness. My name is Robin Mathews, owner and operator of You Matter Yoga Therapy Health and Wellness, and I am a Certified Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). I provide yoga therapy, a process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga. Yoga therapy can help individuals manage a range of concerns, including chronic pain, neurological issues (e.g., stroke, Parkinson's), mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, PTSD), insomnia, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and healthy aging concerns (e.g., osteoporosis, balance and fall prevention). I specialize in helping people manage and improve chronic pain and conditions, reduce stress, and enhance overall health and well-being.

My Goal

As a yoga therapist, my goal is to equip each of my clients with the necessary tools for self-care, self-compassion, and self-love. Yoga is all about the union of mind, body, and spirit. If you're new to yoga, let me assure you that it doesn't have to be overwhelming. The practice is not just about mastering poses; it's a journey, and I use compassionate teaching methods to help you understand the art of yoga in a simple way. I will teach you skills to build flexibility and strength, quickly improve your posture and balance, and help you rejuvenate and restore your body.


Along with yoga, I also offer skincare services, as the skin is the body's largest organ. As a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, I provide a unique treatment that will rejuvenate your body and mind. This treatment is designed to bring you to a state of calm, inner peace, and tranquility. It includes a facial and a massage for your scalp, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, and feet. The facial is specifically designed to lift and sculpt sagging, aging skin.
